Geographic Submissions

Download NRUF Form 502 to report GEOGRAPHIC data in EXCEL format. The form is not interactive, and must be filled in as you would any EXCEL-based form. Be sure to save a copy for your records.

Note: If you use Explorer Version 5.X in order to download the excel file, you must place your cursor over the link, right click, then select "Save target as". Explorer will then download the form into the file directory you specify.

• For assistance in completing and submitting Form 502, download and review the Form 502 Job Aid for Reporting Geographic (doc) utilization and forecast data before completing and submitting Form 502.
• NANPA also provides a list of rate center abbreviations (zip). The sole purpose of this list is to assist service providers in identifying the valid rate center abbreviation associated with a specific rate center, when completing the forecast section of the NRUF Form 502.

Submitting the completed forms.

There are three options. You may:

• Submit your geographic NRUF Form 502 through the NANP Administration System (NAS) to file NRUF geographic submissions online.
• E-mail the completed form (as an attachment) to cocus@neustar.com, or
• Submit the data through electronic file transfer. Download a description (pdf) of the required FTP format. This option is intended primarily for reporting entities with mechanized number administration systems that can be programmed to generate the required data. This option requires testing in order to establish an account with NANPA. This option also requires a logon ID and password. Please contact NANPA at 571-434-5789 in order to set up an account if you intend to submit to the ftp site.

Submitting Revisions

• Modify your geographic NRUF Form 502 through the NANP Administration System (NAS) to update NRUF geographic submissions online.
• E-mail the revised excel form (as an attachment) to rev-cocus@neustar.com.
• If the NRUF was submitted via FTP, the revisions must be made according to the FTP specifications.
