Why did I receive an error indicating I need to complete the appropriate forecast form?

When submitting the FCC Form 502 a forecast is required when completing Form U1 or U2. If you do not foresee a need for additional numbering resources, complete the forecast by entering zeros for Year 1 through Year 5 on the appropriate growth forecast form (Form F1B, F2B, or F3B) in the NPA(s)/Rate Center(s) where you have resources. If you attempted to submit the forecast form, please ensure you started on the header row, row 22.  This is required for NAS to read/process the form.

Why is there an NPA-NXX on the NRUF Utilization Missing Report (UMR) when I reported on the assigned/retained thousands-block(s) in the FCC Form 502?

The CO code holder must report on all ten thousands-blocks regardless of whether a thousands-block is assigned to, or not retained by, the reporting service provider. If the CO code holder has donated a thousands-block, then an “X” must be indicated in the “Donated to Pool” column on the U1 form. If you do not report on all ten thousands-blocks, the CO code (NPA-NXX) will remain on the UMR.

When uploading the FCC Form 502 in NAS, what is the file naming convention?

When uploading the NRUF FCC Form 502 in NAS, the file naming convention must be OCN.MMDDYYYY.NRUFGEO.xlsm or OCN.MMDDYYYY.NRUFGEO.xlsx for the Geographic (CO Code and Thousands-Block Resources) NRUF FCC Form 502 and OCN.MMDDYYYY.NRUFNONGEO.xlsm or OCN.MMDDYYYY.NRUFNONGEO.xlsx for the Non-Geographic (5XX/9YY Resources) NRUF FCC Form 502.

NOTE: The file extension .xlsm or .xlsx does not need to be typed.  The extension is added when saved and should not be included more than once, e.g., OCN.MMDDYYY.NRUFGEO.xlsm.xlsm.
